Odontomas  are  tumors  of  odontogenic  origin,  made  up  of  epithelial  and  mesenchymal  cells  completely  differentiated  f rom  dental  tissues.  Radiographically,  the  composite  odontoma  is  characterized  by  multiple  irregular  radiopaque  structures  that  vary  in  size  and  shape,  called  denticles because of their similarity to teeth; unilocular, separated from the bone by a well-defined cortex  and  due  to  their  location  can  cause  retention  of  primary  teeth  and/or  impaction  of  the  permanent ones. They generally appear as single or multiple lesions found on routine radiographic examination. This report describes the case of a nine-year-old patient with a compound odontoma located in the anterior region of the maxilla, evaluated through cone beam computed tomography, which allowed its location and support to the clinician for his therapeutic decision.en-US
