LA INVESTIGACIÓN EN EL MARCO DE LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR: VALORACIÓN DE LAS COMPETENCIAS DEL DOCENTE UNIVERSITARIO

Abstract

La UNESCO promulga la necesidad de fortalecer los actores de la comunidad científica como arista de confluencia para la generación de comunidades de prácticas que permitan emprender la transformación de sus ámbitos de acción y aportar las pautas de carácter teórico y practica en el marco de la Educación y el desempeño de las competencias laborales, tanto en aula como en investigación y en general para la comunidad universitaria. Este postulado de la UNESCO fue considerado para el propósito de este trabajo de investigación que consiste en analizar la investigación en el marco de la educación superior y la valoración de las competencias del docente universitario en Ecuador. Como estrategia metodológica se asumió la hermenéutica clásica —la cual remite a la reflexión sobre enunciar, interpretar y traducir— considerando para ello la investigación documental /bibliográfica. Se llega a concluir la necesidad que tiene Ecuador en incorporar planes formativos por competencias en investigación que garantice el desempeño laboral en docencia, investigación y vinculación

UNESCO promulgates the need to strengthen the actors of the scientific community as an edge of confluence for the generation of communities of practice that allow undertaking the transformation of their fields of action and provide guidelines of a theoretical and practical nature within the framework of Education and the performance of labor competencies, both in the classroom and in research and in general for the university community. This UNESCO postulate was considered for the purpose of this research work that consists of analyzing research within the framework of higher education and the assessment of the competences of the university teacher in Ecuador. As a methodological strategy, classical hermeneutics was assumed —which refers to reflection on enunciation, interpretation and translation— considering documentary / bibliographic research. It comes to conclude the need that Ecuador has to incorporate training plans for research competencies that guarantee work performance in teaching, research and linking.
