dc.descriptionThe objective of this article was to analyze intellectual capital as a key element in university educational management. The research is situated within the qualitative paradigm. Content analysis was used as a data collection technique, with the analytical category "Intellectual capital in university educational management." For this purpose, underlying and complementary theories were selected. As a result, the theoretical components of intellectual capital in university educational management contexts are revealed, such as human talent, knowledge, experience, skills, attitude, and creativity. Some strategies for strengthening intellectual capital in educational organizations include: knowledge building, fostering integrity, engaging university community members, and intellectual management. In conclusion, it is appropriate to outline strategies for strengthening the components of intellectual capital in university educational management.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este artículo fue analizar el capital intelectual como elemento clave en la gerencia educativa universitaria. La investigación se ubica en el paradigma cualitativo, se utilizó como técnica de recolección de datos el análisis de contenido con la categoría de análisis “El capital intelectual en la gerencia educativa universitaria”, para lo cual fueron seleccionadas teorías bases y complementarias. Como resultado, se develan los componentes teóricos del capital intelectual en contextos de la gerencia educativa universitaria, como lo son talento humano, conocimiento, experiencia, habilidades, actitud y creatividad. Algunas estrategias para lograr el fortalecimiento del capital intelectual en la organización educativa son: construcción del conocimiento, fomentar la integridad, compromiso de los miembros de la comunidad universitaria y gestión del intelecto. En conclusión, es propicio delinear estrategias para fortalecer los componentes del capital intelectual en la gerencia educativa universitariaes-ES
