dc.descriptionThis article presents the progress of an ongoing research project exploring the transcomplex management of patient personalization and experience from an intercultural perspective in hospitals in the state of Zulia, Venezuela. It proposes an intercultural and transcomplex approach that recognizes patient diversity, grounded in complexity theories and Venezuelan legislation. The research adopts a mixed-methods or complementary approach (qualitative-quantitative), employing interpretive paradigms with ethnographic and hermeneutic methods, and a positivist paradigm of a descriptive, non-experimental design. For the interpretive component, participant observation, field notes, open interviews, and document review will be used for ethnography and hermeneutics, with social actors including patients, staff, and literature on hospital emergency services. For the positivist component, questionnaires and observation will be used with a census sample of patients and a probabilistic sample of staff. The data analysis will combine descriptive statistics with cross-referencing and triangulation. The ultimate goal is to offer concluding insights that contribute to improving patient personalization and experience within a culturally diverse and complex context.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo representa el avance de una investigación en curso, la cual explora el Manejo Transcomplejo de la personalización y la experiencia del paciente desde una Perspectiva Intercultural en Instituciones Hospitalarias del estado Zulia, Venezuela. Se propone un abordaje Intercultural y Transcomplejo que reconozca la diversidad de los pacientes, sustentado en teorías de la complejidad y en la legislación venezolana. La investigación adopta un Enfoque Mixto o Complementario (Cualitativo-Cuantitativo), empleando Paradigmas Interpretativo con Método Etnográfico y Hermenéutico y Positivista de Tipo Descriptico con Diseño No Experimental. Para el componente Interpretativo se utilizaran la  observación participante, diario de campo,  entrevistas abiertas  y revisión documental para la etnografía y hermenéutica, con actores sociales constituidos por pacientes, empleados y bibliografía de la emergencia hospitalaria, así mismo, para el componente positivista se utilizarán cuestionarios y la observación con una muestra censal que incluye pacientes y la probabilística con empleados. El análisis de la información combinará estadística descriptiva con arqueo de fuentes y triangulación. El objetivo final es ofrecer reflexiones finales que contribuyan a la mejora de la personalización y experiencia del paciente en un contexto culturalmente diverso y complejo.es-ES
