dc.descriptionInjury to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee is very common worldwide. Each year, it is calculated from 4 to 10 cases per thousand inhabitants. Objective of the research consisted in evaluating the reconstruction of the ALL in the rotational instability of the knee associated with ACL rupture, in the patients attending the CMDLT. The research method was analytical, field, prospective. The sample consisted of 30 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The study subjects were a high percentage of males (80%), age 31.63 ± 11.51. 100% of the patients used Lachman and Pivot Shift 3+ as diagnostic methods. There were differences between the means of the Tegner Lysholm Scale at pre and 3 months (p <.001), between 3 and 6 months (p <.001) and between pre and 12 months (p <.001). No statistical differences (p> 0.05) were determined between the type of graft at the different moments of the study. 6.7% presented as a complication hematoma on the thigh. It is concluded that the surgical technique for ACL reconstruction in knee rotational instability associated with anterior cruciate ligament rupture was effective.en-US
dc.descriptionLa lesión del ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) en la rodilla es muy común a nivel mundial. Cada año se calculan de 4 a 10 casos por cada mil habitantes. Objetivo de la investigación consistió en evaluar la reconstrucción del LAL en la inestabilidad rotacional de la rodilla asociada a ruptura del LCA, en los pacientes que asisten al CMDLT. El método de la investigación fue de tipo analítica, de campo, prospectivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los sujetos de estudio fueron en un alto porcentaje de sexo masculino (80%), edad de 31,63±11,51. 100% de los pacientes utilizaron como métodos diagnósticos Lachman y Pivot Shift 3+. Hubo diferencias entre las medias de la Escala de Tegner Lysholm del pre y a los 3 meses (p<,001), entre 3 y 6 meses (p<,001) y entre pre y 12 meses (p<,001). No se determinaron diferencias estadísticas (p>0,05) entre el tipo de injerto en los diferentes momentos de estudio. 6,7%, presentaron como complicación hematoma en el muslo. Se concluye que la técnica quirúrgica de reconstrucción del LCA en inestabilidad rotacional de rodilla asociada a ruptura del ligamento cruzado anterior fue efectiva.es-ES
