dc.descriptionPituitary tumors are the most common cause of intracranial neoplasms, a tumor registration system represents a monitoring tool, useful to collect, store, analyze and interpret data from patients with this type of neoplasm, and thus provide continuous and updated information on their behavior and management. This feasible project seeks to develop an instrument that allows a simple and rapid record of the clinical, epidemiological, diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics of patients with pituitary tumors who attend the Endocrinology Service of the Teaching Medical Center. La Trinidad, An initial step for a single national registry allowing integrating knowledge and analyzing the quality of care of the different specialized centers. An interface was designed with online access on the Google Forms, with previous bibliographic review of frequency of pituitary tumors in collaboration with a specialist from the endocrinology service, creating an instrument as described as well as the hormonal status and the diagnostic and therapeutic methods used, subsequently carrying out a pilot test to evaluate the feasibility of the project. Summarizing what has been raised, the application of Information, Communication and Technology in medicine allows to promote knowledge describing the center's experience in pituitary tumors.en-US
dc.descriptionLos tumores de hipófisis son la causa más frecuente de neoplasias intracraneales; un sistema de registro de tumores representa una herramienta de monitoreo, útil para recoger, almacenar, analizar e interpretar datos de pacientes con este tipo de neoplasias, y así brindar información contínua y actualizada sobre su comportamiento y manejo. Este proyecto factible busca elaborar un instrumento que permita registrar de forma sencilla y rápida las características clínicas, epidemiológicas, diagnósticas y terapéuticas, de pacientes con tumores de hipófisis que acuden al Servicio de Endocrinología del Centro Médico Docente La Trinidad. Un paso inicial para un registro único a nivel nacional que permita integrar el conocimiento y analizar la calidad de atención de los distintos centros especializados. Se diseñó una interfaz con acceso online en plataforma de Google Forms, con previa revisión bibliografía de la frecuencia de tumores de hipófisis en colaboración con especialista del servicio de endocrinología, creando un instrumento como descrito además de los datos de estado hormonal, métodos diagnósticos y terapéuticos utilizados, llevándose a cabo posteriormente una prueba piloto para evaluar la factibilidad del proyecto. Resumiendo lo planteado, la aplicación de la Tecnología Información y Comunicación en la medicina permite impulsar el conocimiento describiendo la experiencia del centro en tumores de hipófisis.  es-ES
