dc.descriptionOBJECTIVE: to present the results in our experience Ultrafractionated External Radiotherapy in Early Stage Breast Cancer METHODS: A retrospective review of 30 patients with early stage breast cancer was carried out during the period 2020-2022, the techniques used were Three-dimensional planning technique, and Modulated intensity technique. RESULTS: A total of 30 patients with early stage breast cancer who met the inclusion criteria established for this study, treated with Ultrafractionation (UF) and Hypofractionation (HF) regimens, were analyzed. The average age is 66.9 years, with a range of 44-86 in the (UF) scheme and 64.8 years in the (HF) scheme, with a range of 41-88 years, in the pathological T stage, the majority of the patients were T1c (>10mm <20mm) in (UF) represented by 46.7% of the cases, T1 (<20mm) in (HF) represented by 53.3% the follow-up time is short due to that is being implemented as of 2020, the larger range is represented in 12-24 months (UF) 46.7% and in (HF) 60%. The most frequent acute complications were observed at the skin level: grade I radiodermatitis (UF) 26.7%, in the (HF) group, 13 (86.7%) and 2 patients with grade II radiodermatitis. CONCLUSIONS: Treatment with regimens (UF) has shown to be safe and effective in locoregional control, overall survival, and toxicity.en-US
dc.descriptionOBJETIVO: presentar los resultados en nuestra experiencia Radioterapia Externa Ultrafraccionada en Cáncer de Mama estadio precoz MÉTODOS: Se realizó una revisión retrospectiva de 30 pacientes con cáncer de mama estadio precoz durante el periodo 2020-2022, las técnicas utilizadas fue Técnica conformada con planificación tridimensional, y Técnica de intensidad modulada. RESULTADOS: Se analizaron un total de 30 pacientes con cáncer de mama con estadio precoz que cumplen con los criterios de inclusión establecidos para este estudio, tratadas con esquemas de Ultrafraccionamiento (UF) e Hipofraccionamiento (HF). La edad promedio es de 66.9 años, con un rango de 44-86 en el esquema de (UF) y 64.8 años en esquema de (HF), con un rango de 41-88 años, en el estadio T patológico, la mayoría de las pacientes fueron T1c (>10mm <20mm) en (UF) representado por 46.7% de los casos, T1 (<20mm) en (HF) representado por un 53.3% el tiempo de seguimiento es corto debido a que se está implementando a partir del 2020, el rango mayor está representado 12-24 meses (UF) 46.7% y en (HF) 60%. Las complicaciones agudas más frecuentes se observaron a nivel de piel: radiodermatitis grado I (UF) 26.7%, en el grupo de (HF), 13 (86.7%) y 2 pacientes con radiodermatitis grado II. CONCLUSIONES: El tratamiento con esquemas (UF) ha demostrado que es seguro y efectivo en el control locorregional, sobrevida global y toxicidades-ES
