Estimación de la disponibilidad a pagar por la implantación de un plan de conservación y mejora ambiental en la sub-cuenca del río Mucujún

Abstract

El método de valoración contingente es un método hipotético y directo basado en la información que revelan las personas cuando se les pregunta sobre la valoración de un bien ambiental, en el caso particular, por la implantación de un plan de conservación y mejora de la Zona Protectora del río Mucujún, objeto de la presente investigación. Por lo tanto, un elemento fundamental de éste método, es el diseño del cuestionario, que permita recoger la valoración que las personas otorgan a los cambios que se producen en su nivel de bienestar ante una alteración en las condiciones de oferta del bien ambiental. De esta forma, se evita la limitación que supone la ausencia de mercado para los bienes ambientales, enfrentando a los consumidores con los mercados hipotéticos en los cuales tienen la oportunidad de mostrar su disponibilidad a pagar (DAP) por el bien ambiental objeto de análisis. El resultado obtenido es de Bs. 4561,62 por familia, dicha cifra constituye sólo un indicador del valor que representa en promedio, la recuperación del entorno de la zona protectora para la muestra estudiada.

The method of contingent valuation is a hypothetical and direct method based on the information that people reveal when they are asked about the valuation of a very environmental one, in the particular case, for the installation of a conservation plan and it improves of the Area Protector of the river Mucujún, object of the present investigation. Therefore, a fundamental element of this method is the design of the questionnaire, that allows to pick up the valuation that people grant to the changes that take place in its level of well-being before an alteration under the conditions of offer of the very environmental one. This way, the limitation is avoided that supposes the market absence for the environmental goods, facing the consumers with the hypothetical markets in which have the opportunity to show its readiness to pay (DAP) for the very environmental analysis object. The obtained result is of Bs. 4561, 62 for family, this figure only constitutes an indicator of the value that represents on the average, the recovery of the environment of the area protector for the studied sample.
