EL RECREO ESCOLAR Y LOS VALORES DE CONVIVENCIA EN LA ESCUELA PRIMARIA

Abstract

El recreo escolar se convierte en el espacio para la construcción de una interpretación teórica del papel de la escuela primaria en la formación de valores ciudadanos para la convivencia. Se orienta desde el paradigma cualitativo con un diseño etnográfico de carácter descriptivo-interpretativo. El recorrido metodológico parte de la observación directa de la cotidianidad de los niños al momento del recreo. Se incorpora al teórico Alfred Schütz por su concepto de mundo de la vida cotidiana. Se realizaron tres entrevistas a informantes clave que espondieran al criterio de selección simple, catorce conversaciones con maestros y doce niños; además las notas de campo apoyadas en la observación y registros fotográficos. Para el análisis de la información se procedió a la caracterización para realizar la triangulación. Se concluye que el ejercicio de valores de convivencia puede ser evidenciado en la realidad del espacio-tiempo del recreo escolar desde un sujeto como individuo o miembro de un grupo.

School recreation becomes the space for the construction of a theoretical interpretation of the role of primary school in the formation of citizen values for coexistence. Is oriented from the qualitative paradigm with a descriptiveinterpretative ethnographic design. The methodological route starts from the direct observation of the daily routine of children at recess. Three interviews were conducted with key informants who responded to the simple selection criterion, fourteen conversations with teachers and twelve children; besides the field notes supported in the observation and photographic records. For the analysis of the information, the characterization was carried out to perform the triangulation. It is concluded that the exercise of values of coexistence can be evidenced in the reality of space-time of school recess from a subject as an individual or a member of a group.
