BIOÉTICA Y CULTURA INVESTIGATIVA EN EL ÁMBITO UNIVERSITARIO: SU IMPACTO EN EL EJERCICIO DE LA CIUDADANÍA

Abstract

Los avances tecno-científicos han generado una serie de actividades y prácticas que han impactado a la sociedad contemporánea y, en ocasiones, vulneran la vida en todas sus expresiones y al medioambiente. Lo cual, amerita que desde las universidades se dé respuesta a esta problemática; por esta inquietud, el presente estudio documental pretende analizar la importancia de la bioética en la cultura investigativa y su impacto en el ejercicio de la ciudadanía en el ámbito universitario. Para ello, se recurre al análisis e interpretación de documentos varios, nacionales e internacionales, que abordan la temática. Se concluye que en la actualidad la formación bioética en el ámbito universitario tiene señales de fatiga, dado que es percibida como irrelevante socialmente, esquematizada y poco innovadora.

Techno-scientific advances have generated a series of activities and practices that have impacted contemporary society and, at times, violate life in all its expressions and the environment. Which, deserves that from the universities is given answer to this problematic one; for this concern, the present documentary study aims to analyze the importance of bioethics in the research culture and its impact on the exercise of citizenship in the university context. To do this, we use the analysis and interpretation of various, national and international, documents that address the subject. It is concluded, that at present the bioethics training in the university context has signs of fatigue, given that it is perceived as socially irrelevant, schematized and not very innovative.
