LA BIFURCADA VÍA HACIA LA TRANSFORMACIÓN DE LA EDUCACIÓN TECNOLÓGICA UNIVERSITARIA VENEZOLANA ¿REALIDAD O UTOPÍA?

La transformación universitaria viene orientada por principios integradores Latinoamericanos y Caribeños, con el propósito de superar necesidades de desarrollo, prosperidad y bienestar de las sociedades; así, la República Bolivariana de
Venezuela, posterior a la promulgación de la nueva Constitución, decreta en 1999 una serie de lineamientos para la modernización y transformación de Institutos y Colegios
Universitarios, englobando un modelo educativo integrador de saberes, con visión socio-productiva, emprendedor, independiente económicamente, discrepante del discurso político hegemónico reinante durante décadas en el sistema de educación universitario venezolano. El proceso oficializado en documentos del Estado, no impidió
que los objetivos originales se estancaran o desviaran del camino deseado originalmente. En los primeros años, se lograron avances importantes dirigidos a la transformación planteada; ajustando la estructura organizativa, adecuando la infraestructura, y propiciando un nuevo modelo académico-productivo. Por ende, se
hace necesario conocer lo sucedido en la vía; debido al surgimiento de una bifurcación como esquema cognitivo de interpretación desde la complejidad, en lo social, político, económico y educativo; pero, finalmente, podrían cohesionarse las posiciones antagónicas y complementarias de la bifurcación, como desafío en esta realidad. The university transformation is guided by Latin American and Caribbean integrative principles, with the purpose of overcoming the needs of development, prosperity and welfare of societies; thus, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, after the promulgation of the new Constitution, decreed in 1999 a series of guidelines for the modernization and transformation of Institutes and University Colleges, encompassing an educational
model integrating knowledge, with socioproductive vision, entrepreneur , economically
independent, dissenting from the hegemonic political discourse that prevailed for decades in the Venezuelan university education system. The officialized process in State documents did not prevent the original objectives from stagnating or deviating from the originally desired path. In the first years, important advances were achieved
aimed at the proposed transformation; adjusting the organizational structure, adapting the infrastructure, and promoting a new academicproductive model. Therefore, it is necessary to know what happened on the road; due to the emergence of a bifurcation as a cognitive scheme of interpretation from the complexity, in the social, political, economic and educational; but, finally, the opposing and complementary positions
of the bifurcation could be joined, as a challenge in this reality.
