WEBQUEST COMO HERRAMIENTA DE APOYO PARA EL PROCESO INVESTIGATIVO

Abstract

La habilidad investigativa es fundamental para el porvenir social, científico y profesional de los estudiantes universitarios. De allí, la necesidad de incorporar herramientas educativas y de interés en los aprendices con el objeto de fortalecer e incentivar de manera eficiente el proceso de investigación. En virtud de lo mencionado, la finalidad de este estudio estuvo enfocada en proponer una WebQuest como herramienta de apoyo para el proceso investigativo. La misma se ubicó en la modalidad de proyecto factible apoyada en una investigación con diseño de campo a nivel descriptivo. Teóricamente, se basó en el enfoque conectivista de George Siemens, el constructivismo y el aprendizaje significativo de David Ausubel. Los resultados del estudio permitieron concluir que los estudiantes y docentes conocen acerca de las herramientas tecnológicas pero no las utilizan, por lo tanto se recomienda su uso con el objetivo de afianzar la asimilación del proceso investigativo en los estudiantes.

The investigative ability is fundamental for the social, scientific and professional future of the university students. Hence, the need to incorporate educational tools of interest to the trainees in order to strengthen and incentivize the research process efficiently. By virtue of the aforementioned, the purpose of this study was focused on proposing a WebQuest as a support tool for the investigative process. It was located in the modality of feasible project supported by a field design research at a descriptive level. Theoretically, it was based on the connectivist approach of George Siemens, constructivism and the meaningful learning of David Ausubel. The results of the study allowed to conclude that students and teachers know about technological tools but do not use them, therefore its use is recommended in order to strengthen the assimilation of the research process in students.
