COMPETENCIAS BÁSICAS QUE POSEEN LOS DOCENTES EN EL ÁMBITO DE LAS TECNOLOGÍAS DE INFORMACIÓN Y COMUNICACIÓN. CASO: DOCENTES DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE MATEMÁTICA Y FÍSICA DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE CARABOBO
Resumen
Esta investigación tiene como propósito general
analizar las Competencias Básicas en el ámbito de
las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación
(TIC) que poseen los docentes del Departamento
de Matemática y Física de la Facultad de Ciencias
de la Educación de la Universidad de Carabobo. El
tipo de investigación es descriptiva, enmarcado en
un diseño de campo no experimental,
transaccional. La población fue 40 docentes
adscritos a dicho departamento, seleccionándose
una muestra de 35 docentes. El cuestionario
utilizado fue de tipo Likert compuesto por 52
ítems. Los datos se analizaron de acuerdo a
frecuencias y porcentajes obtenidos, permitiendo
afirmar, 75,98% de los docentes poseen las
Competencias Básicas para el uso de las TIC las
cuales llevan a la práctica con una destreza exitosa,
esto se ve representado en 84,93% en la dimensión
Habilidad; 77,16% en la dimensión Conocimiento
y 65,87% en la dimensión Actitud. Finalmente, se
concluyó, la mayoría de los docentes evidencian
un alto dominio del conocimiento y las pericias
relacionadas con Competencias Básicas TIC. This research has as a general purpose to analyze
the Basic Competences in the field of Information
and Communication Technologies (ICT) that
teachers of the Department of Mathematics and
Physics of the Faculty of Education Sciences of
the University of Carabobo have. The type of
research is descriptive, framed in a transactional,
non-experimental, field design. The population
was 40 teachers assigned to this department,
selecting a sample of 35 teachers. The
questionnaire used was Likert type composed of
52 items. The data was analyzed according to
frequencies and percentages obtained, allowing to
affirm that 75.98% of the teachers possess the
Basic Competences for the use of the TIC which
they put into practice with a successful skill, this
is represented in 84 , 93% in the Skill dimension;
77.16% in the Knowledge dimension and 65.87%
in the Attitude dimension. Finally, it was
concluded that the majority of teachers show a
high level of knowledge and skills related to
Basic ICT Competencies.
