La reseña literaria. Implicaciones discursivas y textuales

Abstract

La reseña -al igual que el resumen- es un género que amerita la lectura previa de un texto, por tanto, ambos procesos (lectura y escritura) se ven involucrados en la construcción de aquélla. Una de las funciones de la reseña reside en acercar al lector a la obra reseñada, de manera que se trata de un tipo de texto que promueve la lectura (y también la escritura), de allí que resulte significativo identificar aquellas estructuras enunciativas que permiten lograr este propósito. Además de indagar sobre los mecanismos textuales y discursivos que intervienen en la escritura de reseñas literarias, en este estudio se exploró la manera en la que el reseñador, en tanto que intérprete, manifiesta su experiencia como lector. La metodología de este trabajo consistió en un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo y tuvo como corpus reseñas literarias publicadas en revistas sobre estudios literarios como, Voz y Escritura, Contexto y Actual. Además, fueron aplicadas entrevistas con el fin de poner en diálogo lo hallado en las reseñas elegidas con lo recogido en las mismas. Finalmente, los resultados mostraron que a diferencia de la argumentación, moda-lidad que según algunos autores debería prevalecer, fueron la explicación y la descripción (en segundo lugar) las que destacaron en la configuración de reseñas literarias.

The review - like the summary - is a genre that deserves the previous reading of a text, therefore, both processes (reading and writing) are involved in the construction of that one. One of the functions of the review is to bring the reader to the work reviewed, so it is a type of text that promotes reading (and also writing), hence it is significant to identify those enunciative structures that allow to achieve this purpose In addition to investigating the textual and discursive mechanisms that intervene in the writing of literary reviews, this study explored the way in which the reviewer, as an interpreter, manifests his experience as a reader. The methodology of this work consisted of an exploratory-descriptive study and had as a corpus literary reviews published in journals on literary studies such as, Voice and Writing, Context and Current. In addition, interviews were applied in order to put into dialogue what was found in the selected reviews with what was collected in them. Finally, the results showed that unlike argumentation, which according to some authors should prevail, it was the explanation and the description (in second place) that stood out in the configuration of literary reviews.
