GABRIEL GARCÍA MÁRQUEZ: VIDA, PALABRA Y ACCIÓN

Abstract

La vida del colombiano Gabriel García Márquez es un refl ejo del hombre Caribeño no sólo porque ha nacido en un pueblo del caribe colombiano, sino porque lo ha plasmado en sus obras. Es importante profundizar en las historias de vida, observaremos que estos estudios se realizan desde la antigüedad y se han ido profundizando al pasar el tiempo. En la vida del escritor de la insigne obra: Cien años de soledad encontramos muchos episodios de su vida familiar, signifi cativos, por ello vemos necesario ir al pasado del escritor desde que sus antepasados viajan de España hasta que él forma su propia familia con Mercedes Barcha; haremos un breve recorrido por su genealogía porque esto nos dará pautas para la comprensión de su realismo mágico, muchas de las historias narradas en sus libros las escuchó de su abuela y familiares que lo rodearon desde su nacimiento hasta la muerte del abuelo. La relación de García Márquez con su abuelo fue muy cercana y de muchas enseñanzas. A los 8 años Gabo empieza a vivir con sus padres Gabriel Eligio García y Luisa Santiaga Márquez, todo cambia para él, es un nuevo comienzo, pero nunca olvidará a su abuelo y lo recordará en varias de sus obras.

Life of Gabriel García Márquez allows us to see the Caribbean man not only because he born here, but he wrote mainly of this region of Colombia. To study deeply the life of representative writers and thinkers is a good way to understand the works they have produced. Since antiquity many authors have studied stories and histories of eminent men. In life of famous author of A hundred years of solitude we can fi nd many episodes of his own life. For these reasons I think it very important to search in his genealogy, since they come from Spain to the Caribbean and he married Mercedes Barcha to build his own family. The travel through the familiar genealogy will give us a better understanding of his writing technique Magical Realism. The best part of the facts he tell us were heard from his grandparents and relatives who live in the famous house of Aracataca. When he was 8 years old begin to live with his parents: Luisa Santiaga y Gabriel Eligio. Everything changes for him but and he will never forget his years in this small town with his grandparents where he listened all these fantastic and wonderful stories everybody counts.
