EDUCACIÓN Y DESCOLONIZACIÓN

Abstract

El presente producto investigativo tuvo como propósito fundamental, generar una reflexión acerca de cómo el docente en la praxis educativa debe descolonizarse desde la realidad social con la cual ha venido conviviendo durante décadas. Se reflexiona desde la mirada de Briceño Guerrero y Mario Briceño Iragorry. Bajo un enfoque documental, concluyendo que el proceso de desneocolonización en América latina y en Venezuela debe construirse, desde el quehacer educativo, vivencial y cotidiano para sensibilizar al otro, mostrarle que el camino no es el del oprimido, el servil, el del dominado, mucho menos el del transculturizado sino el del ser crítico, analítico, ir rompiendo paradigmas y consolidar una cultura no que aniquile a la otra, sino una cultura donde todas las culturas se encuentren y comulguen.

The purpose of this research product was to generate a reflection on how the teacher in educational praxis must decolonize from the social reality with which he has been living for decades. It is refl ected from the eyes of Briceño Guerrero and Mario Briceño Iragorry. Under a documentary approach, concluding that the process of deneocolonization in Latin America and Venezuela should be built, from the educational, experiential and daily to sensitize the other, show him that the path is not that of the oppressed, the servile, that of the dominated, much less that of the transculturized but that of being critical, analytical, breaking paradigms and consolidating a culture that does not annihilate the other, but a culture where all cultures meet and commune.
