ALGUNAS CONSIDERACIONES EN TORNO A LOS LUGARES COMUNES Y SU RELEVANCIA EN EL DISCURSO ARGUMENTADO

Abstract

La argumentación es una herramienta de uso cotidiano, de allí que esta reflexión tenga claras orientaciones al uso de ideas apoyadas en argumentos sólidos, representando las bases que sostienen el discurso de quien se expresa y a la vez desea convencer. El poder hablar con argumentos es una fortaleza de seres racionales e intelectuales, los fundamentos de esta disciplina van más allá de la lingüística y la pragmática, representa un hacer filosófico y hasta ontológico pues su médula es el ser mismo del lenguaje en tanto producción, claridad y orden del discurso. Los argumentos le aportan grandeza, belleza y fortaleza al discurso y por ello quien los utiliza asegura sus ideas y lo que desea alcanzar al hablar. Aunque la argumentación es de orden lógico, se vale de recursos estéticos y literarios para realzar su poder a nivel de la palabra, para ello se verá la importancia de los lugares comunes o topoi, sus variaciones y elementos más característicos de éstos. Así también, las leyes de paso o garantías argumentativas son un factor importante dentro de la temática abordada acá, permiten entender y explicar sucesos en la vida diaria, es por esta razón que a lo largo de este papel de trabajo se tomarán algunas ideas centrales de Anscombre, Ducrot, Perelman, Olbrechts-Tyteca, Plantin, Austin, Van Dijk y Tusón quienes aclaran de manera defi nitiva elementos vitales del tema acá tratado.

The argument is a work tool for everyday use, hence this reflection has clear orientations to the use of ideas supported by solid arguments, representing the bases that support the discourse of those who express themselves and at the same time want to convince. Being able to speak with arguments is a strength of rational and intellectual beings, the foundations of this discipline go beyond linguistics and pragmatics, it represents a philosophical and even ontological act because its essence is the being of language as a production, clarity and speech order. The arguments bring greatness, beauty and strength to the speech and therefore who uses them ensures their ideas and what they want to achieve when speaking. Although the argument is logical, it uses aesthetic and literary resources to enhance its power at the level of the word, for this the importance of common places or topoi, their variations and more characteristic elements of these, will be seen. Likewise, the laws of passage or argumentative guarantees are an important factor within the theme addressed here, they allow us to understand and explain events in daily life, it is for this reason that throughout this work paper some central ideas of Anscombre, Ducrot, Perelman, Olbrechts-Tyteca, Plantin, Austin, Van Dijk and Tusón who defi nitively clarify vital elements of the subject discussed here.
