ETIMOLOGÍA Y MUTACIÓN SEMÁNTICA: ENFOQUE MICROANALÍTICO

Abstract

Aplicación del análisis sémico a raíces etimológicas y a sus respectivas formas evolucionadas con el fi n de describir sus mutaciones semánticas, y confección de un glosario latino según el mismo procedimiento microanalítico. Al fi nal, se sostiene que, aun cuando el sentido es un componente abstracto del lenguaje, el criterio de análisis sigue siendo la reducción de una secuencia sintagmática a sus unidades mínimas de contenido.

Application of the semic analysis to etymological roots and their respective evolved forms in order to describe their semantic mutations, and preparation of a Latin glossary according to the same microanalytic procedure. In the end, it is argued that, even though the meaning is an abstract component of language, the analysis criterion is still the reduction of a syntagmatic sequence to its minimum units of content.
