INTERPRETACIÓN Y APLICACIÓN DEL MODELO DE VAN HIELE EN EL MARCO DEL CONSTRUCTO TEÓRICO HUMANS WITH MEDIA CON GEOGEBRA, DE LAS TRANSFORMACIONES EN EL PLANO: CASO TRASLACIONES Y ROTACIONES

Abstract

El estudio del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del concepto de las transformaciones en el plano es un tema de gran interés en la media académica. La investigación que se presenta pretendió hacer contribuciones al proceso de aprendizaje a partir de contextos significativos, mediante la aplicación de la estructura del modelo de Van Hiele y el constructo teórico de Humans with Media con actividades específicas sobre las transformaciones en el plano utilizando el software GeoGebra. Este estudio permitió que se establecieran conexiones con otros temas relacionados, que conlleven al estudiante a adquirir más y mejores formas de razonamiento geométrico. Los informantes clave están constituidos por veinte estudiantes de la IE Provincial San José del grado 10º; se constituyó como una investigación cualitativa, enmarcada dentro del paradigma interpretativo, cuyo modo de pensamiento es la fenomenología y el tipo de diseño estudio de caso. Los instrumentos que se emplearon en la recolección de la información fueron de observación directa; se utilizaron registros abiertos mediante diarios de campo y la encuesta semiestructurada. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se pudo consolidar, la lista de descriptores específicos del modelo de Van hiele para las transformaciones en el plano, caso traslación y rotación.

A topic of great interest in the teaching and learning process for students of the academic mid-level Education is the concept of the transformations on the plane. The research that is presented intended to make contributions to the learning process from significant contexts, by applying the structure of the Van Hiele model and the theoretical construct of Humans with Media with specific activities on the plane transformations using GeoGebra software. This study allowed to establish connections with other related topics, which lead the student to acquire more and better forms of geometric reasoning. The key informants are constituted by twenty students from the High School Provincial San José of the 10th grade; it was constituted as a qualitative research, framed within the interpretative paradigm, whose mode of thought is the phenomenology and the design type is the case study. The instruments used in the collection of the information were direct observation; open records were used by field journals and the semistructured survey. From the results obtained it was possible to consolidate the list of specific descriptors of the Van ice model for transformations on the plane, case translation and rotation.
