Hipérboles en crónicas futbolísticas: rasgos sintáctico-semánticos y discursivos

Abstract

En esta investigación, tenemos el propósito de identificar las hipérboles utilizadas por los periodistas de la cadena televisiva TV Azteca en la narración de tres partidos de futbol. Asimismo, nos proponemos determinar los rasgos sintáctico-semánticos y discursivos más relevantes de dichas figuras retóricas. A través de esta investigación, deseamos contribuir a los estudios de discurso deportivo en español, especialmente a aquellos que se enfocan en crónicas futbolísticas. Para el análisis de los materiales, escuchamos las narraciones y reconocimos las hipérboles de los tres encuentros, transcribimos las figuras en cuestión y las examinamos según los criterios antes aludidos a fin de elucidar sus principales funciones.

The aim of this research is to identify the hyperboles used by the journalists of the television network TV Azteca in the narrative of three football matches. Moreover, we intend to determine the most relevant syntactic-semantic and discourse characteristics of this rhetorical figure. This allows us to contribute to the studies of sports discourse in Spanish, especially those which focus on football narratives. In order to analyze the corpus, firstly, we listened to the narratives and identified the hyperboles of the three matches. Secondly, we transcribed the rhetorical figures and examined them according to the above-mentioned criteria in order to determine hyperboles’ main functions.
