DIFICULTADES DE APRENDIZAJE DE LA MATEMÁTICA: CÓMO AYUDAR AL ESTUDIANTE

Abstract

El aprendizaje de la matemática supone uno de los aprendizajes fundamentales de la educación, junto a la lectura y la escritura, dado el carácter instrumental de sus contenidos. Por ello, es importante entender las Dificultades de Aprendizaje de la Matemática (DAM) que están asociadas al fracaso escolar en estos contenidos de un número elevado de escolares. La presente investigación de naturaleza documental descriptiva, tiene como propósito analizar las Dificultades de Aprendizaje de la Matemática (DAM) más frecuentes y acciones para ayudar a los estudiantes que sufren este trastorno. Con esta intención, se recurrió a realizar el análisis de diversos documentos nacionales e internacionales que abordan la temática.

Learning mathematics is one of the fundamental learning of education, along with reading and writing, given the instrumental nature of its contents. Therefore, it is important to understand the Difficulties in the Learning of Mathematics that are associated with school failure in these contents of a high number of students. The purpose of this research, descriptive documentary nature, is to analyze the most frequent Difficulties of Math Learning and actions to help students suffering from this disorder. With this intention, it was resorted to carrying out the analysis of several national and international documents that address the subject.
