COMPETENCIAS DE LOS PRIMEROS AUXILIOS ANTE TRAUMATISMOS DENTOALVEOLARES DIRIGIDAS A LOS ESTUDIANTES DE EDUCACIÓN MENCIONES INICIAL E INTEGRAL

Abstract

Los traumatismos dentoalveolares ocurren con frecuencia en el ambiente escolar y es el docente quien debe brindar al lesionado los primeros auxilios. Sin embargo, el estudiante de educación no posee las competencias para proporcionar los primeros auxilios ante un traumatismo dentoalveolar. El objetivo de esta investigación fue Proponer competencias dirigidas a los estudiantes de las menciones inicial e integral de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Carabobo, FaCE UC de los primeros auxilios ante traumatismos dentoalveolares. Estudio descriptivo no experimental. Población: 1722 estudiantes de la FaCE UC, la muestra fue probabilística y al azar. El análisis de los resultados arrojó como conclusión la necesidad de elaborar un programa para el desarrollo de competencias dirigidas a los estudiantes en cuestión, para los primeros auxilios ante traumatismos dentoalveolares.

Dentoalveolar trauma occurs frequently in the school environment and it is the teacher who must provide the injured person with first aid. However, the student of education does not possess the competences to provide first aid before a dentoalveolar trauma. The objective of this investigation was to propose competences directed to the students of the initial and integral mentions of the Faculty of Sciences of the Education of the University of Carabobo, FaCE UC of the first aid to dentoalveolar traumatisms. Noexperimental descriptive study. Population: 1722 students of FaCE UC, the sample was probabilistic and random. The analysis of the results showed the conclusion of the need to elaborate a program for the development of competences directed to the students in question, for the first aid for dentoalveolar traumatisms.
