FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA DEL SEMINARISTA CATÓLICO EN LA POSMODERNIDAD

Abstract

La posmodernidad como inicio de una nueva era, trae innumerables sucesos metamórficos que tocan la dimensión educativa en todas sus vertientes; consiente de esta realidad, el presente artículo tiene como intencionalidad: dilucidar la importancia del proceso de formación académica del seminarista católico a la luz de los tiempos postmodernos. El ápice metódico implicó revisión y análisis documental, destacándose elementos de índole religioso, social y educativo que permiten la comprensión del fenómeno dentro del contexto venezolano. Como reflexiones finales, se tiene que la educación permea formación pedagógica, consolidación de valores y actitudes espirituales en futuros sacerdotes, jóvenes que mayormente deben enfrentar con hidalguía humanizador, inéditos desafíos emanados de la necesidad de transformar el mundo, dotándolo de un inmanente sentido existencial.

Postmodernity as the beginning of a new era, brings innumerable metamorphic events that touch the educational dimension in all its aspects; aware of this reality, this article intends to: clarify the importance of the process of academic formation of the Catholic seminarian in the light of postmodern times. The methodical apex involved review and documentary analysis, highlighting elements of religious, social and educational nature that allow the understanding of the phenomenon within the Venezuelan context. As final reflections, education has to permeate pedagogical formation, consolidation of values and spiritual attitudes in future priests, young people who mostly face humanizing chivalry, unprecedented challenges emanating from the need to transform the world, endowing it with an immanent existential meaning.
