EXPLICACIÓN Y COMPRENSIÓN A LA LUZ DE LA HISTORIA DE LAS CIENCIAS

Abstract

Desde la edad antigua destacada por los filósofos de la naturaleza, conocidos como presocráticos, hasta la edad contemporánea, en la que las fronteras de las posiciones dicotómicas se están fracturando, los procesos de explicación y comprensión han resultado fundamentales en la ciencia y han confrontado las ciencias naturales y exactas con las ciencias humanas y sociales. Nos daremos un paseo gracias a la metodología o estrategia del mecate histórico, a través del cual veremos cómo en el tiempo se vivencian procesos recursivos superpuestos, un tiempo lineal que en realidad no lo es, pero gracias al que podemos indagar las realidades sociales bajo el eco de la humanidad, de la historia de las ciencias y los aportes ontoepistemologicos desarrollados en cada época que permiten explicar, teorizar y comprender el mundo.

Since ancient times highlighted by pre- Socratic philosopher to the contemporary age, in which the point of view of dichotomous positions are facing a rupture, the process of explanation and understanding have turned out to be indispensable to the science and they have put face to face, on one hand natural and exact sciences, and on the other hand human and social sciences. We are going to make use of the history line and the methodology, to navigate through the past in order to know how overlapping recursive processes are experienced, a lineal time that really is not, but thanks to which we can investigate the social realities, under the echo of humanity of the history of science and the ontoespistemological contribution developed in each period, that allows us to explain, theorize and understand the world.
