PROPICIANDO ESTRATEGIAS PSICOEDUCATIVAS PARA EL DOCENTE COMO ORIENTADOR Y PROMOTOR DE LA SALUD MENTAL INFANTO JUVENIL.

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación se centró en el diseño de un programa psicoeducativo para propiciar el rol del docente como orientador y promotor de la salud mental infanto juvenil de la escuela Básica Estadal “Julio Teodoro Arze” de la Parroquia Concepción de Barquisimeto Estado Lara. Su propósito fundamental fue contribuir con la formación del ser humano integro en la salud mental, capaz de vivir armoniosamente en sociedad. Se fundamentó teóricamente en investigaciones y teorías que sustentan el rol del docente como orientador y promotor de la salud mental. Metodológicamente, este estudio se enmarcó en la modalidad de proyecto factible, contentivo de las tres primeras fases, apoyado en una investigación de campo de naturaleza descriptiva. Con una población de 22 docentes a quienes se les aplicó un instrumento, que midió la necesidad de formación en su rol como orientador y promotor de la salud mental de la población infanto juvenil; el mismo fue validado por juicio de expertos, así como su confiabilidad se estableció mediante el coeficiente Alfha de Cronbach y el coeficiente de confiabilidad Kuder – Richardson obteniendo alta confiabilidad. Los datos se analizaron mediante la estadística descriptiva. Los resultados arrojaron la necesidad de emplear un programa psicoeducativo para propiciar el rol del docente como orientador y promotor de la salud mental. Las otras fases del estudio determinaron la factibilidad de mercado, técnica y financiera, así como el diseño del programa. Finalmente se elaboraron las conclusiones que dieron respuesta a los objetivos planteados y recomendaciones para el uso del programa.

The objective of this research focused on the design of a psychoeducational program to promote the role of the teacher as a mentor and promoter of child and adolescent mental health Estadal Basic School "Julio Teodoro Arze" of the Conception Parish Barquisimeto, Lara State. Its main purpose was to contribute to the formation of human beings I integrate mental health, able to live harmoniously in society. It was based on theoretical research and theories that support the teacher's role as counselor and promoting mental health. Methodologically, this study was framed in the modality of feasible project, contentivo of the first three phases, supported by field research of a descriptive nature. With a population of 22 teachers who were applied an instrument that measured the need for training in their role as mentor and promoter of the mental health of the child and adolescent population; it was validated by expert opinion and its reliability was established by Alfha and Cronbach reliability coefficient Kuder - Richardson obtaining high reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed the need for a psychoeducational program to promote the role of the teacher as a mentor and promoter of mental health. The other phases of the study determined the market feasibility, technical and financial as well as program design. Finally the conclusions that led response to the objectives and recommendations for the use of the program were developed.
