Morbimortalidad en recién nacidos de madres adolescentes en el servicio de Neonatología y Reten General Hospital Central "Dr. Pedro Emilio Carrillo" de Enero a Diciembre del 2005

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal con el propósito de determinar las causas de morbilidad y mortalidad en el recién nacido de madre adolescente en el Hospital Central de Valera en el periodo de Enero a Diciembre 2005, en el servicio de Neonatología. El periodo de trabajo abarco desde el Enero a Diciembre 2005, en el Hospital “Dr. Pedro Emilio Carrillo”. El universo de estudio se conformó con los nacidos vivos hijos de madres adolescentes embarazadas de menos de 20 años de edad. En el periodo estudiado ocurrieron 644 nacidos vivos hijos de madres adolescentes, entre 17y 19 años en adolescencia tardía, que representaron el 64.3% obtenidos por Cesárea segmentaria por desproporción cefalopelvica 26% (110 casos), seguido de útero cicatricial representa el 20%. La Morbilidad materna que predominó fue la anemia que representa el 54% .El 79%, procedían del medio rural, el 60% no realizaron control prenatal: Según la edad gestacional, estado nutricional, peso, predominando: RNAT, PEG, BP, con porcentaje de 89.4%, 75%, 71.8%,respectivamente.La morbilidad predominante en los recién nacidos fue la asfixia perinatal 18% ,la mortalidad neonatal que predomino fue la temprana con el 70%, con un puntaje Apgar de 3 puntos al minuto y 5 puntos a los 5 minutos, 51%. Como principal de mortalidad en los recién nacidos, fue la sepsis neonatal que representa el 41%.El 70% de las muertes neonatales se presentaron en los RNPT predominando el sexo masculino.

Predominant Morbilidad in the newly born ones the asphyxia perinative 18% .The mortality neonatal that prevailed was it was the early one with 70% with to punted Apgar of 3 punts to the minute and 5 points to the minute ,51% Ace main causes of mortality in the newly born ones ,the sepsis neonatal that represents 41 %,70% of the deaths neonatal was they showed up RNPT, prevailing the masculine sex.
