Síntesis de etil ter-butil éter como oxigenante de gasolinas a partir de isobuteno y bioetanol con una resina de intercambio iónico

Abstract

Se sintetizó etil ter-butil éter (ETBE) a partir de una corriente de isobuteno y bioetanol, obteniéndose dos mezclas de oxigenados que contenían: ter-butanol, metil ter-butil éter (MTBE), bioetanol y en mayor proporción ETBE. Una síntesis se realizó empleando catalizador fresco y la otra catalizador usado. Los reactantes y los productos de la síntesis fueron caracterizados por cromatografía de gases - espectrometría de masas y espectrometría infrarroja, confirmándose la formación de ETBE.

Ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE) was synthesized from a isobutene and bioethanol stream, it was produced oxygenated mixtures with a: tert-butyl alcohol, methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), bioethanol and ETBE in greater proportion. In the synthesis 1 fresh catalyst was employed whereas in synthesis 2 was used spent catalyst.. Reactants and products were characterized by gas chromatography.-mass spectrometry and infrared, confirming the formation of ETBE.
