RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL DEL CIEGC EN LA EDUCACIÓN PARA LA SOSTENIBILIDAD

Abstract

Examinar la responsabilidad social universitaria y su vinculación con la educación para la sostenibilidad, como compromiso que ocupa al Centro de Investigación Educativa “Georgina Calderón” (CIEGC) enuncia el propósito del presente trabajo. Se utilizó la investigación documental. La unidad de investigación se encuentra adscrita a la UPEL-IMPM, conformada por tres (3) líneas de investigación. Desde su génesis, expone objetivos claros y compromisos éticos y sociales que se relacionan, de acuerdo con las definiciones y caracterización que los autores atribuyen acerca de la responsabilidad social universitaria; esta última, no desvinculada con la educación para la sostenibilidad. La publicación es una acción recurrente en el CIEGC, para la socialización del conocimiento. Se cuenta con diferentes participaciones regionales, nacionales e internacionales, de las tareas y acciones del grupo de investigadores en pro del desarrollo de una cultura investigativa que permita la formación de docentes, y la construcción en comunidad de un futuro sostenible.

Examining university social responsibility and its relationship with education for sustainability, as a commitment that occupies the Center for Educational Research "Georgina Calderón" (CIEGC) states the purpose of this work. Desk research was used. The research unit is attached to the UPEL-IMPM, made up of three (3) lines of research. From its genesis, it sets out clear objectives and ethical and social commitments that are related, according to the definitions and characterization that the authors attribute about university social responsibility; the latter, not unrelated to education for sustainability. Publication is a recurring action at CIEGC, for the socialization of knowledge. There are different regional, national and international participations in the tasks and actions of the group of researchers in favor of the development of an investigative culture that allows the training of teachers, and the community construction of a sustainable future.
