Tejiendo las agroecologías desde abajo: Reapropiaciones del movimiento agroecológico venezolano.

Abstract

El objetivo del siguiente documento es visibilizar el surgimiento, aún incipiente, de un movimiento agroecológico que está transformando prácticas pero también los imaginarios del sistema alimentario nacional. Desde una perspectiva etnográfica se estudia el proceso socio histórico venezolano, destacando las políticas públicas que han sido promovidas durante el actual Gobierno (desde 1999) y que tuvieron influencia en la aparición de un mosaico territorial agroecológico, el cual parte del reconocimiento y el florecimiento de un sujeto popular. Como resultado, observamos que aunque en el país persista el modelo rentista petrolero, sin embargo, en las últimas décadas la agroecología logra expandirse como una propuesta institucional con un fuerte arraigo en las bases populares. En conclusión, se evidencia una especie de sincronía Gobierno-Pueblo que bajo múltiples tensiones favorece el poder popular, permitiendo la reaparición de sujetos que re-territorializan las agroecologías desde perspectivas particulares.

The objective of the following document is to make visible the emergence, still incipient, of an agroecological movement that is transforming practices but also the imaginaries of the national food system. From an ethnographic perspective, the Venezuelan socio-historical process is studied, highlighting the public policies that have been promoted during the current government (since 1999) and that have influenced the emergence of an agroecological territorial mosaic, which is based on the recognition and flourishing of a popular subject. As a result, we observe that although the oil rentier model persists in the country, however, in the decades agroecology has managed to expand as an institutional proposal with strong roots in the popular bases. In conclusion, there is evidence of a kind of government-people synchrony that under multiple tensions favors popular power, allowing the reappearance of subjects that re-territorialize agroecologies from particular perspectives.
