SITUACIÓN JURÍDICO-LABORAL DE LOS DISEÑADORES INDUSTRIALES EN VENEZUELA: HACIA UN COLEGIO DE PROFESIONALES

Abstract

Este artículo describe los estudios formales y las iniciativas de agrupaciones profesionales del Diseño en Venezuela. Con este fin se realizó una investigación documental que contrasta leyes, reglamentos y manuales (venezolanos y latinoamericanos) con fuentes secundarias para demostrar la ausencia de un Colegio de Profesionales de diseñadores industriales. El artículo concluye con una propuesta de Colegio que tenga como objetivo fundacional: vigilar el ejercicio profesional, legal y moral del Diseño Industrial en Venezuela.

This article describes the formal studies and initiatives of professional Design groups in Venezuela. For this purpose, a documental review of laws, regulations and manuals (Venezuelan and Latin American) was contrasted with secondary sources to demonstrate the absence of a Professional Body of industrial designers. This article ends with a proposal for a College whose foundational objectives are: follow the professional, legal and moral exercise of Industrial Design in Venezuela.
