Percepción de los docentes frente a la carga laboral de un grupo de instituciones educativas colombianas del sector público

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo describir los aspectos cualitativos y cuantitativos de la percepción que tienen los docentes de básica secundaria frente a la carga laboral del sector público colombiano. Correspondió a un diseño descriptivo y relacional. Se realizó en una muestra de 498 profesionales docentes de 19 instituciones educativas del sector formal de Colombia. Se identificaron dos tipos de percepciones construidas por los docentes alrededor de la variable carga laboral; en primer lugar, se puede mencionar un grupo que percibe una carga laboral coherente con la jornada de trabajo y, en segundo lugar, un grupo de docentes que consideran que existe una sobrecarga laboral.

The objective of the study was to describe the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the perception that secondary school teachers have regarding the workload of the Colombian public sector. It corresponded to a descriptive and relational design. It was carried out in a sample of 498 teaching professionals from 19 educational institutions in the formal sector of Colombia. Two types of perceptions constructed by teachers around the variable workload were identified; First of all, we can mention a group that perceives a workload consistent with the working day and, secondly, a group of teachers who consider that there is a work overload.
