Formação docente do ensino superior: o papel das instituições

Abstract

Esta pesquisa investiga de que forma as instituições de ensino superior preparam o docente para a atuação profissional. Utiliza como fonte o Banco Nacional de Teses e Dissertações, e da análise dos documentos localizados, resultam indicativos de que as instituições têm desenvolvido programas de formação docente, contudo, dentre 19 programas identificados, 3 sofreram interrupção ou cancelamento em decorrência de mudança de gestão, o que indica a necessidade de políticas institucionais que assegurem a formação continuada como cultura de aprendizagem na IES

The following research investigates the way that higher education institutions prepare the teacher for the professional performance. Uses as source the brazilian “Banco Nacional de Teses e Dissertações”. From the documents’ analysis, results the indicative that the institutions have developed teacher training programs. However, 3 out of 19 identified programs had an interruption or cancellation due to the management change. It shows the need for institutional policies that holds the continued education as a learning culture at the higher education institutions.
