Estudio sobre los hábitos lectores de alumnos granadinos (España) de Educación Primaria

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue comprobar el grado de motivación hacia la lectura que poseen 138 alumnos de 5.º y 6.º de Educación Primaria de tres centros educativos de Granada (España). Se realizó una investigación cuantitativa mediante el diseño de un cuestionario validado por expertos. Los resultados evidencian que los estudiantes de la muestra leen libros de distintas tipologías, su número de lecturas voluntarias es alto y leen más cuando las lecturas son obligatorias que durante sus vacaciones.

The aim of this research was to test the degree of motivation towards reading of 138 students from the 5th and 6th year of Primary Education studying at three educational institutions in Granada (Spain). A quantitative research was carried out by experts consisting on designining a valid questionaire. The results show that the students from the sample read books belonging to different typologies, the number of voluntary readings is high and read more when the readings are compulsory than during their holidays.
