dc.description.abstractLa investigación tiene como objetivo realizar una evaluación sobre el desarrollo turístico actual y esperado del Bosque Petrificado Puyango (BPP). Se realizo una revisión documental y exploratoria de la información del territorio, el diseño de investigación fue no experimental de tipo transeccional, y los datos obtenidos se dieron tratamiento estadístico descriptivo. Como resultado se manifiesta que esta reserva no es aprovechada turísticamente por las comunidades aledañas al no ser involucradas por las autoridades en la gestión de este recurso.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe present research has as objective to evaluate the current and expected tourism development of the Puyango Petrified Forest (BPP). A documentary and exploratory review of the information of the territory was carried out, the research design was nonexperimental of the transectional type, and the data obtained were given descriptive statistical treatment. As a result, it is stated that this reserve is not taken advantage by the nearby communities because they are not involved by the authorities in the management of this resourceen_US
