Incidencia del Capital Social en procesos de emprendimiento, estudio de caso Boyacá – Colombia

Abstract

Diversos estudios se han enfocado en mostrar procesos exitosos de emprendimiento, otros en las características de los emprendedores, esta investigación apunta determinar si los procesos de emprendimiento que llevan a cabo los negocios de tejido del municipio de Nobsa en Colombia tienen que ver con el capital social, entendido este como las redes de relaciones personales y duraderas en el tiempo desde tres niveles, uno individual o cognitivo, uno estructural o colectivo y uno institucional o macro. Teniendo en cuenta que la actividad de los tejidos es de tradición, se determinó que las unidades de estudio (personas) serían aquellas que cumplieran con esa tradición y que aún efectuaran alguno de los procesos necesarios para la elaboración de un tejido. Se determinó un total de 15 personas a quienes se aplicó entrevista semi estructurada, además de una historia de vida y una revisión documental, encontrándose que el capital social se fortalece en la medida que participan las familias, los vecinos o los amigos más cercanos, pero se deben cumplir ciertas normas o comportamientos tanto individuales como colectivos, sin embargo a pesar de ser una actividad importante del municipio, ha faltado apoyo por parte del gobierno o de otras instituciones.

Several studies have focused on showing successful processes of entrepreneurship, others on the characteristics of entrepreneurs, this research aims to determine whether the entrepreneurial processes carried out by the weaving businesses of the Nobsa municipality in Colombia have to do with social capital , understood as the networks of personal relationships and lasting in time from three levels, one individual or cognitive, one structural or collective and one institutional or macro, taking into account that the activity of the tissues is of tradition, it was determined that the Observation units would be those that complied with that tradition and still carried out some of the processes necessary for the development of a fabric, obtaining a total of 15 to whom semistructured interviews were applied, as well as a life history and a documentary review, finding that the social capital is strengthened as families participate, the neighbors we or our closest friends, but certain norms or behaviors must be met, both individually and collectively. However, despite being an important activity of the municipality, there has been lack of support from the government or other institutions.
