Modelo de regeneración urbana sostenible en sectores con asentamientos informales en Barranquilla, Colombia

Abstract

En Colombia, así como en otros países, existen factores que estimulan el desarrollo de asentamientos informales y, por consiguiente, innumerables problemas socio-ambientales. El objetivo del artículo es proponer un modelo de regeneración urbana sostenible para la recuperación de suelo aplicable en asentamientos humanos informales. La investigación es de tipo cuanti-cualitativa, estructurada en tres fases de estudio. El resultado de la investigación, incluye alternativas tipológicas de vivienda, aumento de las densidades habitacionales y la eficiencia en el uso de suelo.

In Colombia, as in other countries, there are factors that stimulate the development of informal settlements and, consequently, innumerable socioenvironmental problems. The objective of the article is to propose a model of sustainable urban regeneration for land recuperation applicable in informal human settlements. The research is quantitative-qualitative, structured in three phases of study. The result of the investigation includes typological alternatives of housing, increase in housing densities and efficiency in the use of land.
