Autoestima en la adolescencia media y tardía

Abstract

Este estudio planteó determinar el grado de autoestima en la adolescencia media y tardía de dos instituciones educativas públicas en el área urbana de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador. Trescientos ocho estudiantes (308) de primero a tercero de bachillerato y de segundo ciclo universitario participaron. A los adolescentes de 15 a 19 años, se les aplicó la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg (EAR). La investigación cuantitativa, exploratoria, descriptiva, transversal, concluye con la existencia de niveles altos de autoestima, no se hallaron diferencias significativas entre los niveles de autoestima por edad y sexo. This study established the degree of self-esteem in the middle and late adolescence of two public educational institutions in the urban area of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. Three hundred and eight students (308) from first to third year of baccalaureate and Second university cycle. To adolescents from 15 to 19 years old, they were applied; Scale of Self-esteem of Rosenberg (EAR). The quantitative, exploratory, descriptive, transversal research concludes with the existence of high levels of self-esteem, there are no significant differences between self-esteem levels by age and sex.
