Abstract

La educacion ambiental sustentable y globalizada es un reto interesante que propicia la búsqueda para la transformación de la realidad ambiental a partir de nuevos procesos de aprendizaje que involucren el uso adecuado de las tecnologías de informacion y comunicación. Es necesario además el reconocimiento de los valores ancestrales y originarios de los pueblos del mundo, como fundamento para la interculturalidad. Estos procesos contribuyen al desarrollo de una sociedad más justa, equitativa, y con calidad ambiental. En este sentido las instituciones universitarias deben orientar sus esfuerzos hacia la búsqueda de una educacion ambiental sostenible y diversificada, encontrando en las nuevas tecnologías de informacion y comunicación la oportunidad de conectar el mundo real con las plataformas virtuales. Los aportes de este documento son en esencia un estímulo para las presentes y futuras generaciones, de allí su orientación hacia la sustentabilidad como elemento predominante del nuevo paradigma ecológico, de una interconexión posmoderna e insoslayable entre la tecnología, la realidad, y el ambiente.
