Mística y Ritual. El hecho religioso a través de las Escuelas Antropológicas

Abstract

El hecho religioso es una realidad existencial del ser humano, un campo simbólico inmanente a su dimensión metafísica y, en cuanto tal, constituye una materia de estudio ineludible para la antropología. Estudio que durante la modernidad se ha ido desligando de las connotaciones teologales pretéritas, para centrarse en el uso de la razón pura como vehículo de indagación de la religiosidad natural. El presente artículo supone un análisis documental del fenómeno religioso en esta línea, una exégesis a través de las diferentes escuelas antropológicas cuyo objetivo ha sido poner de relieve los diferentes enfoques, focos de interés, perspectivas epistemológicas y abordajes metodológicos que éstas han aportado a su comprensión.

The religious fact is an existential reality of the human being, a symbolic field immanent to its metaphysical dimension and, as such, constitutes a subject of inescapable study for anthropology. Study that during modernity has been detached from the past theological connotations, to focus on the use of pure reason as a vehicle of inquiry of natural religiosity. The present article supposes an documentary analysis of the religious phenomenon in this line, an exegesis through the different anthropological schools whose objective has been to highlight the different approaches, focuses of interest, epistemological perspectives and methodological approaches that they have brought to their understanding.
