La Evolución Geohistorica de la comunidad de Zorca Providencia, Municipio San Cristobal, Estado Tachira

Abstract

El presente trabajo, tuvo como finalidad analizar la evolución geo histórica de la comunidad de Zorca Providencia, parroquia San Juan Bautista, municipio San Cristóbal en las décadas de 1950 - 1970 a 2010 – 2016. Para esto se implementó la investigación geo histórica, de campo y descriptiva con las técnicas: entrevista, observación, los instrumentos fotografías, cuestionario y notas de campo, se utilizó como muestra a informantes claves habitantes de la comunidad con larga data en el sector, sus aportes recibieron análisis cualitativos con triangulaciones de técnicas y personas y análisis cuantitativos respecto a la realidad socioeconómica. Se concluyó que la comunidad pasó de la actividad económica agropecuaria al sector terciario o de servicios (comercio). El límite trifinio entre los municipios San Cristóbal, Cárdenas y capacho Nuevo no favorece la atención a la comunidad, porque solo acuden a la zona en tiempos electorales, aquí habitaron indígenas Corca, se tienen muestras de sus instrumentos y restos en el museo del Táchira, los sitios claves se han modificado y ampliado en número, la comunidad se identifica geográficamente como periurbana. Como situaciones problema se identificaron: la contaminación de la quebrada la Zorquera, su desborde en tiempos de altas lluvias, inseguridad, alto flujo de motos, vehículos. El desarrollo de este sector no responde a un plan de ordenación, es producto de las posibilidades de inversión de cada familia. Los sitos claves anteriores fueron la estación de servicio Los Patios, hoy inexistente, el camino hacia altos de El Mirador, la iglesia. Actualmente: la estación de servicio Llano petrol, la escuela, comercios, panadería, urbanización, veredas y motel. La vía comunica a San Cristóbal con la frontera entre Venezuela y Colombia

The purpose of this paper was to analyze the geohistorical evolution of the community of Zorca Providencia, San Juan Bautista parish, San Cristobel municipality in the decades from 1950 - 1970 to 2010 - 2016. For this, geohistorical, field and descriptive research was implemented. with the techniques: interview, observation, photographic instruments, questionnaire and field notes, key informants were used as sample of long-standing community members, their contributions received qualitative analysis with triangulations of techniques and people. And quantitative analysis regarding the socioeconomic reality. It was concluded that the community went from agricultural economic activity to the tertiary sector or services (commerce). The trifinio boundary between the municipalities of San Cristobel, Cárdenas and Capacho Nuevo does not favor the attention of the community, because they only come to the area in electoral times, here the Corca Indians lived, they have samples of their instruments and remains in the museum of Tachira the key sites have been modified and expanded in number, the community is geographically identified as peri-urban. As problem situations were identified: the pollution of the stream Zorquera, it’s overflowing in times of high rainfall, insecurity, high flow of motorcycles, vehicles. The development of this sector does not respond to a management plan, it is a product of the investment possibilities of each family. The previous key sites were the Los Patios service station, today nonexistent, the way to El Mirador high, and the church. Currently: Llano petrol service station, school, shops, bakery, urbanization, trails and motel. The road connects San Cristobel with the border between Venezuela and Colombia.
