Taxis eléctricos en la ciudad de Loja - Ecuador

Abstract

El presente trabajo investigativo, expone la experiencia del primer año de funcionamiento del servicio de 51 taxis eléctricos en la ciudad de Loja, cuyo costo de operación y mantenimiento por vehículo es de USD $0.24/km, consumiendo la totalidad de la flota 1.1 GWh al año, equivalente al 1.5% de la energía renovable, que produce el parque Eólico de la ciudad. Al reemplazar un taxi a gasolina por otro eléctrico, se evita la emisión de 13.5 toneladas de CO2 por año.

This investigative work, exposes the experience of the first year of operation of the service of 51 electric taxis in the city of Loja, whose cost of operation and maintenance per vehicle is USD $0.24/km, consuming the entire fleet 1.1 GWh a year, equivalent to 1.5% of renewable energy, produced by the city's wind farm. Replacing a gasoline taxi with another electric can prevent the emission of 13.5 tons of CO2 per year.
