ROL DE LAS UNIVERSIDADES COMO MEDIADORAS EN EL PROCESO PARTICIPATIVO DE LOS CONSEJOS COMUNALES EN EL CUMPLIMIENTO DEL SERVICIO COMUNITARIO

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito propiciar el rol de las universidades como mediadoras en el proceso participativo de los consejos comunales en el cumplimiento del servicio comunitario. La misma fue llevada a cabo considerando las teorías de Ferrer y Clemeza (2009) bajo el paradigma teórico critico de Habermas (1997). El tipo de investigación es Acción Participativa (IAP) y tuvo como actores principales a los docentes del Servicio Comunitario y estudiantes del programa Administración mención Gerencia Industrial, en los periodos académicos I-2013; I-2014 y II-2014. La misma arroja la importancia de fortalecer el carácter activo de las instituciones de educación superior con los consejos comunales al momento de efectuar el curso inductorio, permitiéndoles examinar en conjunto con los estudiantes la problemática de sus comunidades, así como de sus expectativas con respecto a las propuestas planteadas al final del servicio. De igual forma, le concederá a estas instituciones de educación superior la oportunidad de evaluar sus propuestas, para luego diseñar estrategias y títulos consustanciados con las realidades de las comunidades, no solo de forma científica, sino sustentable y sostenible para estas organizaciones, de tal forma que se logren superar las barreras comunicativas entre estas dos entidades sociales, logrando minimizar los problemas en las comunidades.

The purpose of this research was to promote the role of universities as mediators in the participatory process of community councils in the fulfillment of community service. It was carried out considering the theories of Ferrer and Clemeza (2009) under the critical theoretical paradigm of Habermas (1997). The type of research is Participatory Action (IAP) and had as main actors the teachers of the Community Service and students of the Administration program with a mention in Industrial Management, in the academic periods I-2013; I-2014 and II-2014. It highlights the importance of strengthening the active nature of higher education institutions with community councils at the time of conducting the introductory course, allowing them to examine together with the students the problems of their communities, as well as their expectations regarding the proposals made at the end of the service. In the same way, it will grant these higher education institutions the opportunity to evaluate their proposals, in order to later design strategies and titles consistent with the realities of the communities, not only in a scientific way, but also in a sustainable and sustainable way for these organizations, in such a way that the communication barriers between these two social entities be overcome, managing to minimize the problems in the communities.
