VULNERABILIDAD SOCIAL INSTITUCIONAL COMO CONSECUENCIA DEL COVID-19: ESTUDIO EN EL CASCO URBANO DE LA CIUDAD DE GUARANDA

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar los escenarios de la incidencia del COVID-19 en un contexto institucional en el casco urbano de la ciudad de Guaranda. El enfoque del estudio es cualitativo de tipo documental, diseño de campo. La población estuvo conformada por 12 directivos institucionales, a quienes se les aplicó una entrevista estructurada como instrumento de recolección de datos. Los resultados arrojaron determinantes que sustentan la vulnerabilidad social dentro del ámbito institucional a raíz de la llegada de la pandemia. Las conclusiones denotan la importancia de unificar esfuerzos entre estudiantes, representantes, instituciones educativas y gubernamentales, para poder presentar alternativas que fortalezcan los procesos tecnológicos empleados, con la intención de que el sistema educativo sea más efectivo y eficiente.

The objective of the research was to analyze the scenarios of the incidence of COVID-19 in an institutional context in the urban area of the city of Guaranda. The focus of the study is qualitative, documentary and field. The population consisted of 12 institutional directors, whom was applied a structured interview as a data collection instrument. The results yielded determinants that sustain social vulnerability within the institutional sphere as a result of the arrival of the pandemic. The conclusions denote the importance of unifying efforts among students, representatives, educational and governmental institutions, in order to present alternatives that strengthen the technological processes used, with the intention of making the educational system more effective and efficient.
