La fobia y lo femenino

Abstract

La fobia es un tema que concierne a la teoría psicoanalítica, a la clínica y a la dirección de la cura. El objeto fóbico lo consideramos un significante que se escoge para localizar un peligro y construir una defensa frente a la angustia. Es el recurso del sujeto con el fin de que el mundo sea vivible. La fobia es una condición de la emergencia del sujeto en su encuentro con el lenguaje y con la castración materna. En este espacio abierto que busca ocupar el objeto fóbico se vislumbra lo femenino.

The phobia is a subject that concerns the psychoanalytic theory, the clinic and the direction of the treatment. We consider the phobic object a signifier which is chosen to identify a danger and build a defense against anxiety. It is the subject’s resource in order for the world to be livable. The phobia is a condition of the subject’s emergency in his encounter with language and with maternal castration. In that open space that seeks to occupy the phobic object, the feminine is envisioned.
