Políticas y estrategias institucionales para la recuperación y transformación de la ingeniería venezolana

Abstract

El artículo presenta los resultados de un ejercicio dirigido a identificar, a través de la consulta a expertos y la aplicación del análisis estructural, acciones efectivas y pertinentes que permitan recuperar e impulsar capacidades de formación y de I+D de las ingenierías en las Instituciones de Educación Superior venezolanas para contribuir a la recuperación de la industria y los servicios del país, y afrontar las transformaciones tecnológicas inherentes al despliegue de la cuarta revolución industrial con una perspectiva de sustentabilidad.

This paper presents the results of an exercise aimed to identify effective actions that contribute to recovering Venezuelan engineering capabilities. Through inquiries to experts and the application of structural analysis, key policies and strategies to strengthen teaching and R&D capabilities in Higher Education Institutions were enunciated. Their implementation could contribute to the recovery of the country's industry and services and face technological transformations inherent to the deployment of the 4i with a perspective of sustainability.
