Responsabilidad social corporativa (RSC) y su impacto en el rendimiento económico de las principales Empresas en Ecuador

Abstract

Las implicaciones en los Estados financieros de tener o no Responsabilidad Social Corporativa es un problema latente tanto en el contexto mundial y local, cuestionándose cuáles son los beneficios de tener RSC en la aplicación de estas prácticas y sus acepciones. Mediante está investigación se trata de resolver dicho problema con una regresión logística utilizando datos de la entidad reguladora de las compañías en el Ecuador y monitorear la implicación entre el uso de la mejores practicas de RSC y el rendimiento económico de las principales Empresas ecuatorianas. El estudio comprueba que es significativo la relación entre los ingresos y la aplicación de la RSC.

The implications in the financial statements of having or not Corporate Social Responsibility is an unending problem both in the global and local context, questioning what are the benefits of having CSR in the application of these practices and their meanings. This investigation seeks to solve this problem with a logistic regression using data from the regulatory entity of the companies in Ecuador and monitor the implication between the use of the best CSR practices and the economic performance of the main Ecuadorian companies. This study proves that the relationship between income and the CSR enforcement is significant.
