| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This research analizes repetitive structures as orallanguage figures in a sample of 16 speakers taken from the CSM (Corpus Sociolingüístico de Merida - Merida's Sociolinguistic Corpus). At the most generallevel, poetic or rhetoric figures can be defined as structures or forms of the textual network. In particular, repetition is understood as a procedure to create different figures described in the traditional taxonomies. The analysis categorizes the ocurrences in three different fields: 1. Linguistic units involved. 2. Operation performed 3. Figure function. The results confirm that the repetitive figures take part in the configuration of the textual reference, in the interpersonal binding mechanisms of orality, and the textual network itself. | en_US |
