Impacto de la industria de dulces en el desarrollo económico y territorial de Alluriquín, Ecuador

Abstract

Este artículo tuvo como finalidad analizar, a través de una investigación mixta descriptiva-exploratoria, la importancia de la industria de dulces artesanales conformada por microemprendimientos en el desarrollo local de la parroquia rural de Alluriquín. Los resultados demuestran que, a pesar de que esta industria genera utilidad a las empresas y empleo para 70% de la población, todavía no ha logrado contribuir plenamente al desarrollo territorial. Se concluye que el desarrollo de programas públicos podría fomentar un desarrollo integral del territorio.

The aim of this article was to analyze, through a descriptive-exploratory mixed investigation, the importance of the artisanal sweets industry made up of micro-enterprises in the local development of the rural parish of Alluriquín. The results showed that, despite the fact that this industry generates utility in companies and employment for 70% of the population, it has not yet fully contributed to territorial development. It is concluded that the development of public programs could promote an integral development of the territory.
