dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN La Neuroftalmologia es una rama de la oftalmología general que comprende el estudio anatómico, fisiológico y patológico de la estrecha relación que se establece entre el ojo y el sistema nervioso central; y particularmente entre el nervio óptico y la vía visual El manual constituye un estudio de actualización e investigación de bibliografía disponible y en lo posible de más reciente publicación para realizar un consenso de fácil digestión para el personal en formación en su respectiva residencia de postgrado y médicos especialistas con vagos conocimientos en la materia. Se realizó una monografía con la intención de reunir en una edición los conocimientos esenciales del aspecto neurooftalmológico, de importancia práctica para el médico residente y especialista a quienes incumbe el manejo de estos pacientes. Dividiéndose para su desglose la materia en cuatro capítulos representados por: l. Exploración de la pupila II. Exploración del Campo Visual III. Exploración de la Motilidad Ocular IV. Exploración del Nervio Óptico Desarrollando para cada uno de ellos lo correspondiente a recuento anatomofisiológico, técnicas diagnósticas disponibles y tratamiento actualizado para cada patología y se anexaron imágenes y tablas pertinentes para facilitar la comprensión de material teórico expuesto. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Neurophíhalmology is a branch of general ophthalmology study comprising the anatomical, physiological and pathological close relationship established between the eye and the central nervous system, and particularly between the optlc nerve and the visual pathway. The manual is an updated study and research of available literature and possibly last published consensus ter easily digestible tor the trainees in their respective residence postgraduate and specialist physicians vague knowledge of the subject.
