Éxodo venezolano, inserción laboral y discriminación social en la ciudad de Huancayo, Perú

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar las principales razones del éxodo venezolano, y describir la inserción laboral y discriminación social que experimentan los venezolanos situados en la ciudad de Huancayo. Se investigó bajo los lineamientos del método científico, deductivo y analítico. La investigación es de tipo básico, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental transversal; se consideró una muestra no probabilística a 249 inmigrantes venezolanos/as. Concluyendo que el éxodo venezolano obedece a factores socio-económicos y políticos. Estos inmigrantes lograron insertarse laboralmente en condición de subempleados y la mayoría no tiene contrato laboral, trabajando de 9 a 12 horas diarias, y perciben un ingreso mensual inferior al mínimo vital; manifiestan haber sufrido experiencias de discriminación, y se ven perjudicados por el comportamiento de sus compatriotas que cometen delitos.

The objective of the investigation was to analyze the main reasons for the Venezuelan exodus, and to describe the labor insertion and social discrimination experienced by Venezuelans located in the city of Huancayo. It was investigated under the guidelines of the scientific, deductive and analytical method; the research is basic, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design; 249 Venezuelan immigrants were considered a non-probability sample. Concluding that the Venezuelan exodus is due to socio-economic and political factors; These immigrants managed to enter the labor market as underemployed, and the majority do not have a labor contract, working 9 to 12 hours a day, and they receive a monthly income below the vital minimum; They claim to have experienced discrimination, and are harmed by the behavior of their compatriots who commit crimes.
